Williamson County, Texas, herein "the County", seeks to establish contracts for the provision of plumbing services for Williamson County's owned premises. Williamson County, Texas, herein "the County", seeks to establish multiple qualified contracts for the provision of plumbing services for Williamson County's owned premises managed by the Facilities Management department. The County intends to use the established contract, while reserving the right to obtain service from other sources, if applicable, or perform the service in-house. The terms "Respondent", "Contractor", and "Vendor" have the same meaning and shall be used interchangeably. The County seeks to award to multiple contractors, principal provider, and back-up provider(s), on an "as needed" basis for various plumbing services from this single solicitation. Respondents do not need to provide all service listed or service at all of Williamson County Facilities Management premises. The intent of this proposal is to enable the County to acquire qualified and experienced respondents to submit a written proposal addressing plumbing services pricing, qualifications, capacity to service the County's facilities, availability, approach, experience, and additional factors that will be used to ensure successful accomplishment of the requirements set forth herein. The County will review, compare, and evaluate responses based on the criteria and weights identified in this RFP. The successful Offeror (Contractor) must meet all requirements of this RFP, maintain proper licensing, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and mandates relative to the services specified in this RFP. It is the responsibility of each Respondent to examine the entire Solicitation, seek clarification in writing, and check its Proposal for accuracy before submitting the Proposal. Lack of care in preparing a Proposal shall not be grounds for withdrawing the Proposal after the Proposal due date and time nor shall it give rise to any Contract claim. CONTRACT TERM AND RENEWALS The term of the resulting agreement shall be for an initial term beginning on October 1, 2025, and shall expire on September 30, 2027, plus four (4) additional one-year (1) renewals.
