Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Tampa, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 135,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project consists of one building for both schools with an area of 135,000 square feet. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing Stewart Middle School. The new building will be constructed from tilt wall construction, structural steel, bar joists and load bearing interior tilt walls. Fenestration includes aluminum store front/curtain wall and hollow metal doors. Interior finishes include drywall partitions, resilient flooring, acoustical ceilings, acoustical wall panels, polished concrete flooring, painting and standard school finishes. Other features items for the project includes specialties, wall protection, food service equipment ,basketball equipment, fabric shade structures, site work, utilities, asphalt pavement, parking appurtenances, sidewalks and landscaping. The HVAC system will be a chilled water system with new chiller yard. The electrical system will include gear, lighting, power, fire alarm, structured cable, audio enhancement, and other low voltage systems.
