Design-Build Services for Hobart Landing Septic-to-Sewer ProjectIRCDUS Project ID: 21.24.508In accordance with section 287.055, Florida Statute, the Indian River County Board of CountyCommissioners is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms, design-build teams,or other legal entities appropriately licensed and capable of providing Progressive Design-BuildServices The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all submittalsand to waive any and all informalities. Project Overview Required services under the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) project delivery model, include project management, planning, engineering, permitting, and construction services, for Hobart Landing Septicto-Sewer Project ("Project"). The Project is part of a multi-year Septic-to-Sewer (S2S) Program aimed at converting residential and commercial properties on septic systems to connect with the IRCDUS sewer network. The Project is a planned project in the S2S Program, consisting of residential properties that currently have County water service. The Hobart Landing community of Vero Beach, FL 32967, is a neighborhood of approximately 53 homes on septic tanks adjacent to the Indian River Lagoon. Hobart Landing is generally located on 79th Street between US-1 and the Indian River Lagoon. Attachment A provides the GIS plot of the Project area. The septic tanks in this area leach potentially harmful nutrients into groundwater that may lead to the Lagoon. The Project plan is to construct approximately 6,400 linear feet of public sewer infrastructure that consists of new sewer mains and laterals to connect the homes. It is estimated that the S2S conversions will result in approximately 1,400 lbs. per year of nitrogen reduction.
