Site work for a water / sewer project in Oyster Creek, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids must be submitted in unit prices and lump sum bids will not be accepted. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. Rehabilitation of: A. 300 LF of 6 Sanitary Sewer; B. 20,000 LF of 8 Sanitary Sewer; C. 7,800 LF of 10 Sanitary Sewer; D. 1,000 LF of 12 Sanitary Sewer; E. 2,500 LF of 15 Sanitary Sewer; F. 600 LF of 18 Sanitary Sewer; G. 8,600 LF of 21 Sanitary Sewer; 2. Reconnect approx. 300 sewer services; 3. Other appurtenant items A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by City for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Bidder's Qualifications Prior to the Contract Award. The Project to Be Constructed Will Be Financed With Assistance From the General Land Office (Glo) Under the U.s. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (Cdbg-mit) Program and is Subject to All Applicable Federal and State Laws and Regulations. Attention is Called to the Fact That Not Less Than, the Federally Determined Prevailing Davis-bacon and Related Acts Wage Rate, as Issued by the Department of Labor and Contained in the Contract Documents, Must Be Paid on This Project. In Addition, the Successful Bidder Must Ensure That Employees and Advertisement and Invitation for Bids Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual. All Contractors and Subcontractors Must Be Cleared (Not Suspended or Debarred) Prior to Any Formal Action Authorizing the Award of a Contract to the Contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and Labor Surplus Area Firms Are Encouraged to Submit Bids. Question Deadline 07/30/2025 No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
