Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project involves the resurfacing of Eden Lane from John Tipton Boulevard to approximately 200' past Union Avenue. Approximate construction quantities included 6,000 SY of HMA Milling 3" or less and 730 Tons of Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick. Bids must be furnished on the proposal sheets included in the Contract Documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Municipal Clerk, Township of Pennsauken, New Jersey and plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the Contract Number and Title. Electronic copies of the plans can be obtained by emailing a request to Paul Kowaleski (pkowaleski@cmeusa1.com) and Nicholas Stefanic (Nicholas.stefanic@cmeusa1.com) with the subject heading "Request for Bid Documents - 2024 CDBG Resurfacing of Eden Lane". Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cashiers check of not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid or $20,000.00, whichever is less, payable without any conditional endorsement as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to the bidder, he will within ten (10) days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid or $20,000.00, whichever is less, may be substituted for certified check or cashiers check, except the amount of the bid security shall not be less than $500.00 - nor more than $20,000.00. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., contractors on projects for public work shall adhere to all requirements of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Township of Pennsauken, New Jersey for all proceedings, suits or actions of any kind or description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work. The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Pennsauken reserves the right to reject any or all bids as permitted by statute if in its opinion it is in the best interest of the Township to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
