The description of the work is as follows: Part A o N. Winter Parking Lot Addition: (New Pavement) Part B o Scott St - Beecher to Burr (Mill and Resurface) Part C o Island Park: (Mill, Resurface and New Pavement) o Riverside: (Mill and Resurface) o Oakwood Cemetery: (Mill and Resurface) Exact locations are available via email to barmstrong@adrianmi.gov A certified check or bidder's bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal will be required to accompany the proposal. A performance bond, maintenance guarantee bond, and labor/materials bond for 100% of the amount of the Contract will be required. The right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities in any proposal is reserved by the City of Adrian. All measurements are approximate and must be field verified and agreed to by the Project Engineer prior to consideration for payment. All paving limits will be clearly marked by the Engineer prior to commencement of work. In most cases the milling will NOT be continuous through intersections of streets unless otherwise directed by the Engineer. 4. The City shall provide a dump site where all millings shall be hauled, dumped, and remain the property of the City of Adrian. No millings shall be sold to private parties or hauled to any location other than the site provided by the City o N. Winter Parking Lot Scope of Work The contractor must perform finish fine grade to the compacted base before paving. The costs shall be provided in the HMA line item. The City will get within a few inches to final grade then it is expected that the contractor will get to finish grade. This is scheduled for 2 lifts totaling 3 inches (3") of 5E1. Scott St Scope of Work Thisis scheduled for 2 inches(2") HMA Cold Milling with 2 inches(2") of 5E1. Section is near railroad and state route. Necessary permits have already been obtained by the City. Proper signage will required and shall be at the expense of the contractor. Island Park Scope of Work Said section will consist of placing new pavement as well as milling and resurfacing portions. The contractor must perform finish fine grade to the compacted base before paving the new pavement sections. The costs shall be provided in the HMA line item. The City will get within a few inches to final grade then it is expected that the contractor will get to finish grade. New pavement sections are scheduled for 1 lift totaling 2 inches (2") of 5E1. Mill and resurfacing sections are scheduled for 2 inches (2") HMA Cold Milling with 2 inches (2") of 5E1. Riverside Park Scope of Work Said section will consist of milling and resurfacing portions. These sections are scheduled for 2 inches (2") HMA Cold Milling with 2 inches (2") of 5E1.
