This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the City of Kingston (the "City") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Provincial Offenses Court Room Technology Upgrades , as further described in Part 2 of the RFP Particulars (the "Deliverables"). The City of Kingston Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) department is responsible for the management and operation of computing technology and resources used within the civic administration. Our mission is to integrate technology to ensure City customers are well served and Division / Partner Agencies are successful in meeting their objectives through the use of information technology. We provide overall direction to the Corporation in the use of information technology, managing information system resources and activities ensuring that the direction of these support the Corporation's strategic direction. The City is looking at developing efficiencies around Provincial Court sessions / meetings through the introduction of technology for key Audio & Video technology and live streaming functions, primarily for Court Proceedings and Processes. This could include but not limited to upgrades to existing technologies or replacement as deemed necessary by the evaluation committee.
