The City of Bolivar is accepting bids for the purchase and installation of a 28-foot by 28- foot canvas hip shade structure at 1710 W Broadway St Bolivar, MO, 65613. The shade structure will be placed adjacent to the City's newly constructed inclusive playground. This shade must be suitable for protection from both sun and rain, meaning a water-resistant fabric canopy is required - not mesh material. Project Specifications - Structure Type: 28' x 28' hip shade structure o See Attachment A - Fabric: Water-resistant, UV-blocking canvas material - Frame: Powder-coated steel or equivalent corrosion-resistant material - Anchoring: Surface-mount or in-ground anchoring compatible with poured concrete (concrete pad will be poured by City staff prior to installation) - Wind Rating: Must meet local wind load requirements - Color: To be selected by City after bid award - Installation: Full installation of the structure on-site at 1710 W Broadway by vendor
