The City anticipates selecting up to four contractors to provide construction of new dry utility conduits and wet utility infrastructure along City streets. The scope of work under this solicitation includes underground installation of electric, communication, and water utilities. Task orders will vary in scope, size, and quantity. For each assignment, the contractor will receive plan sheets or sufficient details outlining utility placement, both for initial bidding and again upon issuance of the task order using the submitted rate sheet(s). Any proposal received later than the specified time, whether delivered in-person or by mail will be disqualified. The City of Kyle will not be responsible for late delivery from the post office or delivery to any location other than the one specified above. Responders are encouraged to submit their proposals well ahead of opening time or follow up to confirm their proposals were received before the deadline. The City further reserves its right to reject all proposals for any reason or any proposal that does not contain all the information requested in this RFP.
