Site work and paving for a road / highway in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The following is a general description of the work to be done under this Contract. This list is intended to give the Contractor a general description of the work involved in this Contract and is not a complete listing of all work to be done. All work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents even though not specifically mentioned in this list. 1. Provide basic work zone traffic control according to the contract documents and as ordered by the Engineer. 2. Remove various trees within NYSTA ROW. 3. Replace concrete pier protection at various overpasses. 4. Replace existing guiderail with new guiderail at various locations. 5. Replace existing culvert end sections, clean inverts and clean ditches of various small culverts. 6. Install highway culvert at the access driveway located at MP 478.37 EB. 7. Perform concrete repairs on various large concrete culverts and wingwalls. 8. Replace Regulatory signs on Exit 59 ramp gore. 9. Restore disturbed areas and clean-up as directed by the Engineer. Contract TAB 25-15 / D215036 Safety Improvements and Miscellaneous Work from MP 467.00 to MP 485.50 WB and MP 467.00 to MP 483.00 EB in Chautauqua County in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Your bid must be secured with either a Bid Bond or a Bid Deposit. A Bid Bond must be in the amount of 5% of the total bid and must be on the Authority's Bid Bond Form (TA-44117) which is included in the Proposal. A Bid Deposit must be a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the New York State Thruway Authority in the amount of $200,000.00. TAB 24-13 / D214968 Pavement Rehabilitation and August, 25, 2025 Miscellaneous Work MP 467.00 to MP 485.50 WB and MP 467.00 to MP 483.00 EB TAB 24-32 / D215002 Installation of Pavement Markings August 29, 2025 at Various Locations TAB 24-17 / D214971 Pavement Repairs at Various November 14, 2025 Locations on I-90 and I-190 TAB 24-29 / D214992 On Demand Repairs to Thruway December 31, 2025 The Authority reserves the right to alter any lane closure and/or direct the Contractor to immediately remove a lane closure during such circumstances. The Authority shall be the sole judge of when conditions warrant these lane closure restrictions, and such restrictions will not entitle the Contractor to file a claim for additional compensation.
