Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; museum; museum; retail development; and retail development.
Redevelopment of the former headquarters of the National Film Board (NFB) site, located at 3155, chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, in Montreal. This large-scale project, located along the metropolitan highway (A-40), will transform a strategic site of nearly 49,000 m2 into a complete, human, and sustainable neighborhood. Located approximately 800 meters from the future Côte-de-Liesse REM station - scheduled to open in fall 2025 - the site offers unique potential to meet the objectives of sustainable densification and access to public transit. The project will include three hubs: - Residential Hub: Approximately 700 residential units including approximately 50% "off-market" units and housed in the 7 to 15-story buildings; - Commercial and Office Space Hub dedicated to local businesses and innovative workplaces and - Arts and Culture Hub that will pay tribute to the NFB's cinematic and cultural heritage. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary and has been just announced by the owner. Decontamination and infrastructure work will begin as soon as regulatory approvals are received from the City of Montreal. The owner expects to launch in 2026 its land sale or lease program as well as calls for proposals for the commercial zone. Note. Final scope of work, budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized.
