Qualified firms must demonstrate expertise in the design of fish deterrence systems, including electric weirs, fish traps, and in-stream barriers. Experience with hydrologic modeling, fish behavior in relation to deterrent systems, and compliance with state and federal environmental permitting requirements is essential.
