Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Port Alberni Port Authority (PAPA) is seeking qualified contractors to complete finishing work on four (4) cabins located at China Creek Campground. The project involves plumbing, electrical, and general interior and exterior finishing to make the units ready for seasonal use. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following: Electrical Full internal wiring in compliance with the BC Electrical Code Purchase and installation of fixtures, switches, and outlets Hook-up to onsite power supply Plumbing Purchase and install pedestal sink, toilet, and shower in each cabin Ensure watertight seals, including shower pans and flooring interfaces General Finishing Interior: Install drywall or panel finish, paint, flooring, baseboards, and cabinetry Install ladders and loft handrails with removable section for mattress access Complete trim and touch-ups for occupancy readiness Exterior: Install skirting (vinyl or breathable aluminum-type) with access panel Construct 36" stairs with 36"x48" landings and handrails Lay 2x2 concrete pavers (8' x 16' area per unit) Install 6' cedar privacy fence panel at the living room end of each unit Paint and touch up as required
