The Lake Champlain - Lake George Regional Planning Board (LCLGRPB), the federally designated Economic Development District for Clinton, Essex, Hamilton, Warren, and Washington Counties of New York State, is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct mapping, analysis, and planning for an Eastern Hemlock Assessment within the Lake Goerge Watershed. The selected consultant will work in close coordination with LCLGRPB staff to develop the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) that meets the requirements of the Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP). In addition to leading the development of the QAPP, the consultant will also be responsible for implementing or coordinating components of the assessment project. Contract term: 1.5 years. Responses to any questions will be provided by written addenda posted to the website at online. LCLGRPB reserves the right to award the Contract under this RFP to the firm(s) whose proposal best serves the interest of LCLGRPB. LCLGRPB reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or part thereof, not considered to be in the best interest of LCLGRPB, and to waive any technical or formal defect in the proposals which is considered by LCLGRPB to be merely irregular, immaterial, or unsubstantial. NYS Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business (MWBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) are encouraged to apply.
