Renovation of an educational facility in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the work consists of: upgrading original equipment for the emergency generator systems and normal service entrances for four (4) buildings on the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Campus. The scope of upgrades for each building includes the installation of a new exterior natural-gas generator system, a portable generator connection box (PGCB), replacing the existing service entrance equipment with new, and installing new electrical distribution equipment for the new generator system. The execution of scope shall be phased to maintain occupancy of buildings during construction, unless noted otherwise. Temporary provisions shall be supplied by the contractor to facilitate temporary installations, equipment startup, and functional testing as indicated in these documents. The documents include suggested phasing of scope as a basis of intent; contractor shall coordinate final phasing of scope with the A/E during the submittal process. The four buildings on the campus are ordered with respect to priority of completing project scope. George Stein Annex (GSA). Trainer Natural Resources Building (TNR).
