This solicitation is to establish a Maintenance Contract to provide Lawn Maintenance as specified for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections - Lafayette Office of Motor Vehicles for an initial 1-year period beginning with date of award and ending June 30, 2026. At the option of the State of Louisiana and acceptance by the Contractor, this contract may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, terms and conditions. Total contract time not to exceed 36 months. OMV Lafayette Lawn Care Vendor to furnish all tools, materials, equipment, supplies and labor necessary to provide lawn maintenance for the Department of Public Safety, Office of Motor Vehicles at 3241 NW Evangeline Thruway, LA 71446 in accordance with the specifications stated herein. Vendor is responsible for damages caused to the building property during service. Lawn Maintenance to include: - Mowing of all open areas from building to and including fields on the north side of parking lot to Frontage Road and west side of parking lot to Montpellier Blvd and Loire Avenue. - Edging of sidewalks and curbs. - Blowing off walkways and parking lot (front and back) to ensure neat appearance. - Weed-eating around building and parking lot (front and back). - Remove grass debris. Timeframe for services to be performed: - Bi-weekly March through October (16 services) - Monthly November through February (4 services) OMV Lafayette Landscape Additional Maintenance: - Cleaning flower beds and trimming all trees and shrubs around the building two times per year to be scheduled upon request. Amount of bid bond required: addressed in the special terms and conditions section if applicable. Amount of performance bond, if required: addressed in the special terms and conditions section. Method of Award: It is the intent of the State to award this contract on an all-or-none basis to the overall lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting the specifications. The State further reserves the right to reject individual line items from the award.
