Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in West Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a fire / police facility.
Scope of Work: Major components of Project Work consist of Demolition, excavation, trenching, water lines installation, concrete, electrical wiring for existing exterior lighting standards, and related work. BKF #:C20210392-18 License: Contractors' State License Classification required to bid Project is B. DVBE: Participation in Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) program may be required for this project. Refer to Project Manual Document 00 21 00, Project Manual Document 00 22 10 and Bid Forms for requirements. Bidders are advised to commence the required DVBE procedures immediately upon receipt of drawings and project manual. DVBE Bid Incentive: The DVBE Incentive program is being applied on this project. Refer to Project Manual Document 00 21 00, Article 18.5 Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Pursuant to Labor Code 1774, the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and any subcontractor under him, shall pay not less than the specified general prevailing rates of per diem to allworkers employed in the execution of the contract. Pursuant to Labor Code 1770 et seq., the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed. Copies of the general prevailing rate of per diem wages are available from the Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Statistics & Research Division, P.O. Box 420603, San Francisco, CA 94142, (415) 703-4780; or general prevailing rate of per diem may be accessed on the internet at Department of Industrial Relations website for the February 2025 published general prevailing rate of per diem wages for this contract. Copies of the general prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at DGS principal office, which shall be made available to any interested party on request.
