Provide calculations and layout with proposal to verify the floor load is not violated 2. Design Considerations: The shelving must not interfere with the overhead sprinkler system and shall be no taller than 6'. Shelves should be adjustable to allow for flexibility in book placement while maintaining appropriate spacing for book height, thickness, and weight. Shelving material must be metal and designed to handle significant weight loads without compromising structural integrity. 3. Safety & Compliance: The shelving system must adhere to all local building codes, fire safety regulations, and any other relevant guidelines. Minimum of 4' aisles between rows of shelves recommended. Proposers should account for and provide documentation on weight distribution calculations and compatibility with the room's load-bearing capacity. 4. Installation: The supplier must provide a detailed plan for the installation process, including a timeline, team qualifications, and any necessary equipment. The installation must minimize disruption to ongoing operations in adjacent spaces.
