Reference Number 0000391077 The construction will be a single contract that shall include all required materials, tools, labor, new equipment; training, support, and expertise, under the requirements to remove the existing systems and construct and install fully operational HVAC, with electrical connections. the County Board of Supervisors of the County of Columbia invites sealed proposals for the furnishing of labor and materials necessary for the replacement of a 10 ton gas fired roof top HVAC unit at the County's Philmont Nutrition building located at 93 Main Street, Philmont, NY 12565. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to the order of Columbia County Treasurer, or a bond with sufficient sureties, to be approved by the County Attorney, in such amount, conditioned that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will enter into a contract for the same and will provide acceptable security, in the form of cash, certified check or performance bonds, or letters of credit, as set forth in the contract documents. The work shall be substantially completed within 90 calendar days of the date of the Notice to Proceed. *The County of Columbia reserves the right, in its discretion, to waive technical noncompliance or irregularities that are not material or substantial, and to reject all bids and to rebid the project. Scope of Work A. The construction will include all required materials, tools, labor, new equipment; training, support, and expertise, to replace an existing LP gas fired rooftop HVAC unit with new LP gas fired rooftop HVAC unit, to serve the building including electrical and HVAC for a fully operational system.
