Project Overview: 4-6 Main Street is a prominent, historically significant, mixed-use building in the heart of downtown Friendship. Vacant and deteriorated, the property has strong potenal for adapve reuse to support ground-floor commercial acvity and upper-floor residenal or community use. ACLBC's goal is to stabilize and rehabilitate the structure in a manner that respects its historic character while meeng current codes and community development goals.Scope of Services: The selected firm will be responsible for: o Preparing complete architectural design drawings, elevations, and construction specificaons o Ensuring that all plans align with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properes Preparing and submiCng required materials to SHPO for historic preservtion review and project compliance o Providing technical assistance during SHPO and NYSHCR consulttion and approval processes o Assisting with cost estmatng, phasing plans, and contractor procurement if needed Project Overview: 31 Grover Street is a vacant residenal structure with potenal historic value. The building is being considered for full rehabilitaon for future owner-occupancy, contribung to ACLBC's mission of stabilizing neighborhoods and increasing the availability of quality affordable housing. The selected firm will support the restoraon of the property in a way that balances modern residenal standards with the preservaon of historic character, in coordinaon with SHPO review where required. Scope of Services: The selected consultant or firm will be expected to: o Conduct a thorough building condion assessment, including documentaon of historic elements o Prepare architectural plans, elevaons, and construcon drawings in compliance with NYSHCR and SHPO design guidelines o Develop detailed specificaons that adhere to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic ProperesAssist ACLBC in preparing materials required for SHPO consultaon and review o Recommend historically appropriate materials and finishes, while ensuring code compliance and energy efficiency o Provide cost estimatng, phasing recommendatins, and bidding support if necessary
