The Project includes the following Work: The pavement planning & resurfacing of local streets within city limits, along with a chip/seal surface for S. Walnut Street. Additionally, work includes adjusting existing manholes to grade and the reinstallation of pavement markings Engineers Estimate $1,466,264.55 Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids as well as Alternates, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 10 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, letter of credit on a solvent bank, or a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
