Maywood Middle School Blacktop Project (Round II) The Project consists of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to cut saw and inst. Contractor shall cut, remove and haul off site an additional 2" of existing AC paving around the perimeter of all new concrete areas. Contractor shall patch between (N) concrete and (E) AC paving with two inches 2" (or thickness as necessary to render new paving flush with existing paving) of new AC paving. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District and must be responsive. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations and to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: A, B, or C-8. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. The successful Bidder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, of the Labor Code and Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations.
