Bidders shall be a Fire Alarm and Mass Notification company, with Fire Alarm and Low-Voltage licenses in North Carolina.Bidders shall be authorized Notifier Fire Alarm and Mass Notification installers, with Owner approved Sub-Contractors as required. Bidders will receive an email receipt notification that their bids have been received. The Fire Alarm and Mass Notification company shall be the Prime Contractor; their proposal shall contain all work required to affect a complete and satisfactorily operating installation as designed and intended. Bidders must be qualified to purchase and install Notifierv systems and devices. Bids shall be fixed with all components included. The bid name and IFB # 121-090425JI shall be referenced in the Subject line of the email. All questions must be submitted prior to September 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM and will be responded to via Addendum posted to the North Carolina Electronic Vendor portal before or on October 1, 2025. The Work shall consist of: Base Bid: Furnish and install a new Notifier Fire Alarm and Mass Notification system in Building N105 to replace the existing Mitec system. New system shall be installed while existing system remains in operation. All work, including wall penetrations and sealing, dry wall repair, painting, electrical, data and other associated trades, shall be included in the bid. Alternate Bid: As an additive Alternate, modifications to existing Fire Alarm/Mass Notification systems throughout the North Campus shall be made to provide a Notifier CLSS HORIZO LAN-Connected system with capability to permit North Campus Security office to communicate with the other RCCC Campuses in the future. Complete and properly functioning systems will be required. HUB certified contractors are encouraged to submit a bid for this project.
