The City of Cuyahoga Falls is requesting Letters of Interest (LoI) from consultants for engineering services. The services involve preparation of a corridor study and preliminary streetscape plans for portions of Portage Trail. The improvements are anticipated to include typical streetscape features such as enhanced pedestrian facilities, on-street parking, lane reductions where feasible, access management and landscaping. The corridor study will help guide the future improvements and include public engagement. Completion Schedule It is anticipated that Consultant will submit the Portage Trail Corridor Study to the City by April 1, 2026. Estimated Date of Authorization It is anticipated that the selected Consultant will be authorized to proceed by August 2025. Terms and Conditions The City of Cuyahoga Falls terms and conditions will be included in all agreements selected under this request for letters of interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
