Renovation of a multi-residential development in Westlock, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Parkview Plaza was built in 1982 and consists of 20 senior self-contained apartments. The existing windows are original to the building and are in poor condition with windows that are starting to fail in regards to leakage and opening/closing concerns. We require replacement of the 20 suite bedroom and living room windows as well as all windows (17) in the common areas and service rooms. In addition to the window replacement, we require both the exterior and interior front entrance doors and side lights to be replaced. The new windows are to comply with the Alberta Building Code (ABC) for adequate egress from a suite. The existing windows of this building are a wood framed window with a sealed unit glass panes in the wood frame. The exterior surface of the wood frame is metal cladded with dark brown cladding. The suite living room and bedroom windows have horizontal slider opening windows for air access. The new windows are to comply with the National Building Code - 2019 Alberta Edition (NBC(AE) for egress access (Article 9.9.10.1). OTHER BIDDER: Centra Projects Alberta Ltd $166,609
