DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Removal of abandoned underground storage tank (UST) systems including tanks, piping, fill ports, dispenser island, etc., if encountered; Removal and proper disposal of contaminated soils, up to, but not beneath roadway and not within right-of-way utility corridors; Removal and proper disposal of contaminated groundwater, if encountered, from the excavation; Collection of verification soil samples; Backfilling and compacting the excavation with certified clean fill to existing grade, covered with topsoil from an approved source, and seeding with grass or other material as determined in consultation with EGLE and the property owner; Replacement of sidewalks and other public infrastructure if damaged by site remedial activities; Replacement of any deteriorated or damaged sidewalks present on the site properties; Restoration of the remaining portion of the site with grass seeding and repair of any damage to the public infrastructure or right-of-way Please do not submit online questions via online.
