The Scope of Work for the Town of Bethlehem Town Hall (Occupancy Class "B" Business - Type IIA) includes a complete replacement of all existing aluminum framed window units with new thermally broken and insulated aluminum window units. Window glazing will receive various treatments to accommodate the various occupations and existing field conditions throughout the Town Hall. In addition to the window replacement, the Scope of Work will also include Masonry Cleaning, Repointing, and Repair of the existing structure. The original existing Town Hall is a Masonry Multi-Wythe wall assembly, and various additions are also of masonry construction. These masonry surfaces are in need of repointing and repair at various locations, which are defined in the Contract Documents. Asbestos Abatement will be necessary at determined locations where test samples have shown positive results. Areas of Abatement are defined on the Contract Documents.
