The Contractor shall provide all paving and milling equipment, qualified laborers, supervision, fuel, tools, supplies, materials and all incidentals necessary to mill and pave approximately 75,000 square feet of parking lot, located at the Salem District Complex, 731 Harrison Avenue, Salem, VA 24153. The Contractor shall pave half of the parking lot completely, as designated by the Contract Administrator. Once the first half is complete, VDOT will move vehicles and the Contractor will pave the second half, as designated by the Contract Administrator. Refer to Attachment G for location of the paving project. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Jason Sturdevant at Jason.sturdevant@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 4:00 PM EST on July 8, 2025. The period of contract will be from date of award through October 31, 2025 A mandatory, in-person pre-bid conference will be hosted by the Contract Officer at 10:00 AM EST on July 1, 2025 at The Auditorium on the Salem District Lot located at 731 Harrison Ave, Salem Va. 24153. The purpose of this conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation.
