Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ballston Lake, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project Includes the Following Work: Base Bid Work Includes the Demolition of the Parking Lot and Basketball Court at Martin Jewitt Longkill Park, the Installation of a New Parking Lot, Circulation Path, Fencing, and Reinstallation of Existing Playground Equipment. Add Alternate Work Includes the Procurement and Installation of Newplayground Equipment. Site Disturbance Related Work That May Affect Access or Use of the Existing Parking Lot May Not Begin Until After September 30, 2025. Lump Sum Bids Are Requested for the Following Contract: Martin Jewitt Longkill Park Improvements/mj965.27 Work Shall Be Substantially Completed on or Before May 15, 2026, and Ready for Final Payment by June 12, 2026. Document Notes: Addenda, if Any, Will Be Issued Only to Registered Plan Holders Whose Name and Address Are on Record. Neither Owner Nor Engineer Will Be Responsible for Bidding Documents, Including Addenda, if Any, Obtained From Sources Other Than the Designated Website. Prospective Bidders May Examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office and Owner's Office on Monday Through Friday Between the Hours of 8 Am to 4 Pm. Question Deadline 07/18/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing via email. Prevailing Wages :the Bidders Must Comply With New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule. Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Must Accompany Each Bid in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidders Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, Each in an Amount Equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Attention of Bidders is Particularly Called to the Requirements for Ensuring That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religion, Sex or National Origin. The Owner, Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bid Received, or to Reject Any or All Bids Without Explanation. The Owner is an Exempt Organization Under the Tax Law and is Exempt From Payment of Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on Materials Which Are to Be Incorporated Into the Project and Which Are to Be Separately Sold by the Contractor to the Owner Prior to Incorporation Into the Project, Pursuant to the Provisions of the Contract. These Taxes Are Not to Be Included in the Bid.
