**As of August 14, 2025, the project was awarded to APG Office Furnishings, with an awarded amount of $560,240.54.** Bids will be received for furnishing and installing the furniture bid package (“Furniture Contractor”) for the Geauga County Courthouse Expansion project (“Project”). Pursuant to R.C. 153.12, the Owner’s estimate of probable cost of the work to be performed by the Furniture Contractor for the Project including all base bid work is Five Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($560,000) Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or an irrevocable letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or a bid guaranty in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount, such check or bid guaranty to be made in favor of the Geauga County Board of Commissioners and shall be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder is required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance of the Contract in a sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price for the complete work, said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio meeting the requirements of the O.R.C.
