Sealed Proposals for construction of the Ochoco Irrigation District, Cox Pump Station and McKay Piping Project (Project) Ochoco Irrigation District, Cox Pump Station and McKay Piping Project The work contemplated consists of, but is not limited to, the following major items as further defined in the Proposal Documents: . Furnishing and installation of the Cox Pump Station and intake structure, interconnected to the electrical utility and McKay Lateral piping, commissioned, and complete and ready for use. . The Cox Pump Station work also includes, but is not necessarily limited to, coordination with electrical utility, construction survey, shoring and dewatering, excavation and backfill, cast-in-place concrete, construction of metal frame canopy structure, procurement and installation of HDPE and steel pipe, valves, pumps and motors, electrical equipment, lighting, instrumentation and controls, wiring, testing, start-up and training of Owners personnel. . Furnishing and installation of an approximate 7.5-Mile HDPE pressurized irrigation piping system and 15-HP booster pumping system and building. The pipe ranges from 30-inch DR11 down to 4-inch diameter, and the work includes approximately 31 Turnout assemblies, air and vacuum valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, tees, reducers, and associated appurtenances, complete and ready for use.ers are encouraged to attend. The contract time will be limited to a Substantial Completion time schedule commencing on October 1, 2025 and ending on March 31, 2027. (541) 480-6257 blackrockci@gmail.com Work within the Ochoco Main Canal can only occur between October 1 and March 31st of each of the off-irrigation-periods (subject to adjustment by the Owner). All materials for the project will be supplied by the Contractor. Substantial completion of all work included in the contract agreement must be attained by March 31, 2027. Liquidated damages of $2,000.00 per day for the first 10 days and $10,000.00 per day thereafter shall be assessed should the contractor fail to achieve substantial completion within the time allowed. Restoration, demobilization from the site and all closeout and punch-list items are to be completed by April 30, 2027. Each Proposal must be submitted as prescribed and accompanied by a certified check or Proposal bond executed on the form bound within the Contract Documents or one substantially similar, payable to the Ochoco Irrigation District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount Proposal. The successful Proposer will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price. For information regarding the proposed work, contact David C. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Proposals not conforming to the intent and purpose of the contract documents or when in the public interest. Any Proposer may withdraw its Proposal prior to the time of Proposal opening and no Proposer may withdraw its Proposal after the time of Proposal opening. The Engineer's estimate for the project is a range from $10MM to $12MM *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
