The Project includes the installation of approximately three thousand two hundred (3,200) linear feet of thirty-six (36)-inch sewer pipeline extending from the B-2 Lift Station to the existing forty-eight (48)-inch sewer in Malaga Road. The method of work will require portions of both tunneling and open-cut installation. The wastewater from this project will be directed to the Diamond Regional Sewer Lift Station. o The 36-inch Mission Trail Trunk Sewer Project is a key component of the broader effort to convert up to 696 homes in the Sedco Hills area from septic systems to a centralized sewer system and resolve the capacity issues of a portion of the existing 21-inch sewer line in Mission Trail. The wastewater from this project will be directed to the Diamond Regional Sewer Lift Station. o The work involves the installation of approximately 3,200 LF of 36-inch sewer pipeline extending from the B-2 Lift Station to the existing 48-inch sewer in Malaga Road. The method of work will require portions of both tunneling and open-cut installation. o Project includes, but not be limited to, open-cut pipeline trenching, managing tunneling subcontractors (if not prime contractor), trench shoring, pipeline installation, manhole construction, backfill and compaction, pavement restoration, traffic control, testing, permit compliance, and erosion control. o Construction will overlap with Sedco Hills Septic to Sewer Conversion Project Packages 1, 2 & 3, which discharge to the 36" trunk sewer in Mission Trail.
