The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids from qualified Bidders to furnish and install a dishwasher handling system to Norfolk State University (herein referred to as the University, NSU, or Purchasing Agency). Anticipated delivery should occur in December 2025 (exact date TBD). Questions may be asked until close of business Thursday, July 18, 2025. Email to Monique Robinson, Procurement Director, at mdrobinson@nsu.edu. GENERAL 1. The vendor shall furnish, deliver, and install the following items: a. Industrial Dishwasher per Specifications (Attachment C) b. Vendor will be responsible for removal and disposal of old dishwasher c. New dishwasher must be able to use existing utility hookup/connection (cold domestic water supply, electrical, ventilation, and drainage) d. Preventative Maintenance/Service Agreement e. All bid pricing must include inbound freight. f. Bid pricing valid for up to 45 days and does not include Virginia sales tax 2. Delivery a. Vendor shall arrange delivery to Norfolk State University campus, Scott Dozier Dining Hall, 2491 Corprew Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23504. b. Anticipated delivery should occur in December 2025 (exact date TBD). c. Delivery must be arranged with Norfolk State University contact at least five (5) business days prior to delivery and installation. See Special Term & Conditions #10 for POC information. d. A current Certificate of Insurance must be provided at least five (5) business days prior to installation. B. RESPONSIBILITES OF CONTRACTOR a. Pictured I.D. badges shall be worn at all times while on University property. b. Contractor's employees appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall not be permitted on University premises. c. No loud, boisterous or rude conduct shall be permitted. d. Contractor's employees shall not use University telephones or computers at any time. e. There shall be no smoking inside any University buildings or roofs. f. Unauthorized Personnel: The Contractor's employees are not to be accompanied in their work areas or on the premises by acquaintances, family members, or any other person unless said person is an authorized contractor employee performing work under the contract. Contractor is responsible for all safety and environmental compliance. Any spills (e.g. oil, coolant, etc.) shall be reported immediately, and cleaned up to the satisfaction of NSU and any regulatory agencies at no expense to the University.
