The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for the transformer replacement project de la rivière sub-station. Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained only at the Development department, located on the 2nd floor of Edmundston City Hall, via e-mail at plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price. The performance bond and the labour and material payment bond shall be in the form prescribed by Regulation 2021-81 under the Construction Remedies Act, S.N.B. 2020, c.29, and each such bond shall extend protection to Subcontractors of the Bidders and to other persons who supply services or materials to the Bidder for the Work, including to any other person or class persons to whom protection must be extended under Regulation 2021-81, in such amount(s) as may be prescribed thereunder. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted. Question Deadline 08/25/2025 All requests for additional information, clarifications or instructions concerning the Tender Call must be sent IN WRITING (facsimile, e-mail or letter) and received by the City of Edmundston no later than five (5) working days prior to the Public Tender opening. Requests shall be submitted to the individuals designated on the Tender Data Sheet. Copy of addendum will be forwarded to listed Bidders no later than three (3) working days before receipt of Bids.
