Reference Number 0000391395 The City of Mount Vernon is soliciting qualified firms or individuals to Supply Equipment and Operator for the Rental of Various Public Works/Construction Equipment to the City of Mount Vernon as detailed herein. It is the City's intent to contract with a firm or firms for the rental of equipment with operators on an "As Needed Basis" for emergency and other work as may be needed in accordance with the specifications herein. Attached herein, labeled "Exhibit B" is a listing of equipment that may be rented and a schedule of the requested rates as detail therein Question Acceptance Deadline 07/11/2025 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No A Certified Check or Bank Check for five (5%) percent of the total amount of the Bid, made payable to the City of Mount Vernon or a Bid Bond for five (5%) percent of the total Bid to be held by the City of Mount Vernon as a guaranty that in the event the Bid is accepted and a Contract awarded to the Bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured as set out in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the opening of proposals. *The City of Mount Vernon reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any requirements set forth in the specifications which it does not deem material to the proposal, if it deems such rejection and/or waiver(s) in the best interests of the city. Each proposal must be completed on the forms provided. If responding electronically online, all proposals will be held in a lockbox until the date and time of the bid opening. If responding by hardcopy and delivering to the City Clerk's office, all proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope inscribed with the above title on the outside of the envelope. The name and address of the persons submitting the proposal must appear on the envelope which should be addressed to the Board of Estimate and Contract of the City of Mount Vernon, New York. documents note : The full deposit of each set less the actual cost of reproduction of the plans and specifications will be refunded upon return of the entire set of documents in good condition, no later than thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or rejection of Bids.
