The County Commissioners of Kent County, MD (Owner) are requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Worton WWTP Dewatering Equipment Replacement Work consists of installing a new sludge dewatering system at the existing Worton WWTP. Kent County has pre-purchased the new dewatering system which includes a volute dewatering system, flocculation tanks, polymer system, screw conveyors, flow meter, and associated piping specific to the system. Work also includes furnishing and installing associated mechanical piping, valves, electrical modifications, concrete work, and demolition work associated with the removal and disposal of the existing dewatering system and associated support structure. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Bid documents are publicly posted and available online. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Kent County Department of Public Works office located at 709 Morgnec Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620, (410) 778-2600, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Checks shall be made payable to George, Miles & Buhr, LLC.
