Question Deadline 07/07/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Cyndi Storey, (839) 218.6481, cstorey@acpsd.net The Aiken County School District is seeking quotes for the purchase and installation of certified playground safety mulch at the following locations: Aiken Elementary 105 cubic yards o 2050 Pine Log Road Aiken, SC 29803 Belvedere 120 cubic yards o 115 Monterey Avenue North Augusta, SC 29841 Warrenville 200 cubic yards o 569 Howlandville Rd Warrenville, SC 29851 Material Specifications: o Playground mulch must meet or exceed current ASTM F1292, ASTM F1951, and ASTM F2075 standards. o Must be IPEMA-certified engineered wood fiber safe for playground use. o Must be free of contaminants, nails, pallets, or chemically treated wood. Installation Requirements: o Mulch must be installed to a 12-inch loose depth. o Vendor is responsible for even distribution and installation within designated playground areas. o Site must be cleaned of any leftover debris/material. Project Timeline: o Installation must be completed in full no later than July 21, 2025. o Work may occur during standard business hours or at times coordinated with the Maintenance Department.
