1.1. The Lee County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) desires to obtain services from a skilled and qualified CONTRACTOR for the installation of an additional salt and brine storage capacity and install a fourth Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane Feed Pump at the Green Meadows Water Treatment (WTP). 1.2. The WTP which began operation in 2019 is designed to treat water from three aquifers. The plant consists of a 7.5 million gallon per day (mgd) reverse osmosis (RO) process treating brackish water from the Upper Floridan Aquifer, a 4.2 mgd ion exchange (IX) system treating fresh water from the surficial water and up to 4.8 mgd of filtered water, with sand strainers, from the Sandstone Aquifer. for the purpose of selecting a vendor to furnish; all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills and incidentals required for Lee County, Fort Myers, Florida, in conformance with solicitation documents, which include technical specifications and/or a scope of work. As of July 18, the Question Deadline is 07/28/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Any inquiries, suggestions or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information pertaining to the solicitation shall be submitted in writing.
