W912EE - The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) Solicitation Number W912EE25BA011 for J. Bennett Johnson Waterway, Construction General, Lower Approach to Lock and Dam 2, Longitudinal Stone Revetment. The work consists of furnishing all necessary plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work for constructing a longitudinal stone revetment to fill existing scour at the lower approach to Lock and Dam 2 (Overton Lock and Dam) located southeast of Alexandria, LA. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization; and furnishing, delivering, and placing Graded Stone "B". The project has a completion period of 142 Calendar Days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. This IFB will be for one (1) Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract. This procurement is advertised as a total small business set-aside under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $45 Million. Bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $5 Million and $10 Million.
