Bidder questions concerning this project should be submitted to the Town Administrator (Admin@tamworthnh.gov), with a copy to the Tamworth Energy Committee (Tamworthenergy@tamworthnh.org) by 4 pm EDT on July 1, 2025. Responses will be provided by July 3. The Project includes the following work: Installation, operation and maintenance of two (2), Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charge ports in the parking lot behind the Tamworth Town Offices and the Tamworth Community Nurses Association. Intended use of the system includes people coming to Tamworth to do business or to utilize the Town's various resources, as well as by residents living in the immediate area, potentially using the chargers overnight. It is anticipated that each hour of charging will provide the connected EV with 25-50 additional miles of range. All potential bidders must visit the site prior to bidding. The Tamworth Town Offices are located at 84 Main Street, Tamworth, NH 03886. A site visit can be scheduled by contacting the Town Administrator at 603-323-7525 x14. If additional work is anticipated after bidder inspects the site, the Owner will issue an immediate bid amendment. The construction site is in the rear right portion of the parking lot behind the Town Offices. Conduit has been placed towards the back of the parking lot intended for EV chargers. Construction is permitted Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. All construction activity will be coordinated with the Tamworth Town Administrator. Bids should detail the charging levels, networking capabilities, and warranty information. Installation details should cover site preparation and coordination with utilities. Operational considerations should include maintenance and payment systems. Finally, the financial proposal should detail the costs associated with equipment, installation, and ongoing operations.
