Humphreys County is seeking sealed bids from Qualified Contractors for demolition and debris removal from four (4) properties on Vicory Lane, Waverly, TN 37185. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the complete demolition of the existing structures and proper disposal of all debris in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. All contractors will be required to be licensed and insured in the State of Tennessee. Humphreys County has the right to accept or reject any and all bids. FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMPG) for Victory Lane This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee through the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the complete demolition of the existing structures and proper disposal of all debris in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations Compliance with all Federal and State grant requirements, including those associated with FEMA and the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC). Per TDEC, a CGP permit is not required. However, a silt or filter fence will have to be installed before demolition begins and removed once the demolition is complete, the septic tanks are pumped and filled, all drives or man-made structures are removed, and the sites are graded, seeded, and mulched. Coordinate all utility disconnections with appropriate utilities. 811 must be called prior to work commencing to have all utilities identified to ensure other utilities in the area are not impacted. All utilities will be cut and/or capped at the right-of-way line. All the properties were on City of Waverly water. The service has been discontinued by the City of Waverly at the water main. 811 will be called to ensure water will not be impacted to other residents. 246 Victory Ln also has a well which will have to be capped.
