Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Waverly, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of September 22, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded next month. Humphreys County is seeking sealed bids from Qualified Contractors for demolition and debris removal from four (4) properties on Vicory Lane, Waverly, TN 37185. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the complete demolition of the existing structures and proper disposal of all debris in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. All contractors will be required to be licensed and insured in the State of Tennessee. Humphreys County has the right to accept or reject any and all bids. FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMPG) for Victory Lane This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee through the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the complete demolition of the existing structures and proper disposal of all debris in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations Compliance with all Federal and State grant requirements, including those associated with FEMA and the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC). Per TDEC, a CGP permit is not required. However, a silt or filter fence will have to be installed before demolition begins and removed once the demolition is complete, the septic tanks are pumped and filled, all drives or man-made structures are removed, and the sites are graded, seeded, and mulched. Coordinate all utility disconnections with appropriate utilities. 811 must be called prior to work commencing to have all utilities identified to ensure other utilities in the area are not impacted. All utilities will be cut and/or capped at the right-of-way line. All the properties were on City of Waverly water. The service has been discontinued by the City of Waverly at the water main. 811 will be called to ensure water will not be impacted to other residents. 246 Victory Ln also has a well which will have to be capped. DO NOT CALL - the telephone number is provided for courier delivery purposes only One hardcopy original in a binder or envelope shall be submitted to the County at Room 1 Rawlings Building, 102 Thompson Street, Waverly, TN 37185. Submittal can be no later than the date and time advertised. Proposer is solely responsible for properly labeling, mailing, and/or delivering the Proposal at Proposer's sole cost. Proposals may be hand-delivered if preferable. B. The outside of the Proposal's envelope/box (or outermost envelope/box if mailed by and delivered by United States Mail, Express Mail, Priority Mail, UPS, Federal Express, and all other similar types of carrier delivery,) must be labeled with Proposer's Company Name and RFP Number: HumphreysCounty RFP 4609-DR-TN, Room 1 Rawlings Building, 102 Thompson Street, Waverly, TN 37185. Deadline for written inquiries: 7/22/25 Proposers should carefully review this RFP and all attachments for defects, objections, or any other matter requiring clarification or correction. Questions or comments must be received by the County in writing no later than six (6) business days prior to the RFP submission deadline to allow issuance of any necessary addenda. All demolition and renovation projects are subject to the regulations insofar as owners and operators must determine if and how much asbestos is present at the site.
