SCOPE OF WORK: The work under this Contract encompasses all general construction activities necessary to minimize water intrusion into the elevator shafts and cabs located at the upper levels of existing Parking Garages G and K at PortMiami. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Perform minor demolition as required to facilitate the specified improvements. b. Construct a new 8-inch CMU (concrete masonry unit) block wall, finished with stucco and paint to match the existing structure, in accordance with the bid drawing documents. c. Supply and install new missile impact-resistant aluminum/glass double and single doors, as specified in the bid drawing documents. d. Supply and install a new 6-inch deep, wind-driven rain blade, hurricane-rated aluminum louver panel system, as detailed in the bid drawing documents. e. Supply and install a new hurricane-resistant fixed glass window with an aluminum frame, as detailed in the bid drawing documents. f. Supply and install new structural support components for the louvers, metal framing partitions, fixed windows, and doors, creating a fully integrated system, as specified in the bid drawing documents. g. Construct a new cast-in-place (CIP) concrete filler, sealed, and finished matching the existing structure, as indicated in the bid drawing documents. h. Construct a new concrete ADA-compliant ramp, as detailed in the bid drawing documents. i. Relocate or modify the existing handrail, as detailed in the bid drawing documents. j. Supply and install a new metal framing partition with a STO finish, as detailed in the bid drawing documents. k. Relocate any fixtures, devices, or equipment as necessary to accommodate the new work, at the Contractor's responsibility. l. Furnish and install a new exit sign, as specified in the bid drawing documents. m. Furnish and install new wayfinding signage to match the existing wayfinding signage system, as indicated in the bid drawing documents. n. All work shall be performed in accordance with Bid Documents All requests for clarification of an RPQ must be submitted in writing by July 15, 2025, by 12:00 PM.
