All work on this contract is to be completed within 365 CALENDAR DAYS beginning with the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. As a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract, each bid shall be accompanied by a surety bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order. The bid security amount shall be 10 percent of the contractor's bid made payable to the TREASURER OF MARICOPA COUNTY as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, the bidder will, within 10 days from the date of Notice of Award, enter into proper contract and bond condition for the faithful performance of the work; otherwise, said amount may be forfeited to the BOS as liquidated damages.
