The project is expected to be awarded on October 2025.** The project consists of the construction of the Huntsville Phase I Sewer Improvements and will generally include the following: 1.Testing and Rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer to reduce total extraneous water entering the system. 2. Re-testing to confirm rehabilitation work is sound. 3. Various levels of rehabilitation of about 120 other manholes. 4. Replacement of about 885 lineal feet of eight-inch gravity sewer with PVC pipe through pipe bursting. 5. Site restoration and other miscellaneous work to return project sites the same or better condition as before the project began. 6. All other work shown on the Drawings and called for in the Specifications. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements contained in the Instruction to Bidders regarding compliance with Executive Order 12549 - Debarment and Suspension and Minority Business Enterprise Utilization. All bidders are required to make the six good faith efforts to assure compliance with the State's "fair share goals" and are required to comply with EEO regulations. Nondiscrimination in Employment - Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. This project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, by the Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri. Construction shall follow the requirements of the American Iron & Steel Provisions explained in the specifications.
