A new Alaska Air National Guard Base Supply Warehouse of approximately 59,815 square feet will be designed and constructed to support administrative, logistical, and operational requirements of the Alaska Army National Guard on the Elmendorf side of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. The work includes full design-build services for a facility with complete utility systems, site improvements, drainage, and parking areas. The warehouse will incorporate a high-bay storage area, loading dock, traffic management office, classified storage vault, weapons vault, training room, secure room, restrooms with showers and lockers, janitor closet, administrative and office spaces, LGRM, electrical and telecommunications rooms, fire pump room, Boeing storage room, secure outdoor yard, covered outdoor stairs, and an elevator. The second floor will contain a mechanical mezzanine, administrative and command offices, Boeing workstations, circulation areas, restrooms, a lactation room, janitor closet, telecommunications room, and an electrical room. Work will be executed under a firm-fixed-price contract using two-phase source selection procedures, with Phase 1 addressing past performance and technical approach, and Phase 2 evaluating building function and aesthetics, quality of systems and materials, site design, contract duration and schedule, small business participation, and price. A completed Project Labor Agreement is required, and the Davis-Bacon Act applies. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
