SCOPE OF PROJECT: Assessment of the Existing System An analysis of the existing system should include an onsite analysis of the WWTF to identify deficiencies, and a review of all available plans and documents from the Water District, Kittitas County, and the Department of Ecology. Using this information, the selected company should determine hydraulic and organic load capacity of the system. Assessment of the Existing Service Area Demand The selected company should review annual flow rates and organic loading of the service area. Known future developments should be included in this analysis. The service area demand should then be compared to the capacity of the WWTF to inform necessary upgrades. Findings and Recommendations The selected company should summarize the findings of the assessment in a report with recommended system upgrades if necessary. Included in this recommendation, a high-level cost assessment of upgrades should be included. Project Meetings and Communications The selected company is anticipated to meet with Kittitas County Public Works to provide regular updates. In addition, the selected company is expected to meet with Water District 6 to present project findings. A separate meeting to present the findings with the Kittitas County Conference of Governments is expected. Submittals shall include a one-page cover letter with the firm name as listed on the MRSC web site and contact information. Submittals shall also include three copies of your Statement of Qualifications describing the firm's or team's ability to provide the aforementioned services.
