Project excludes the Lee Castleberry Road roundabout. Work also includes the installation of a raised concrete channelizing island at Dawson Market Way intersection. 1. All work shall be after 9pm Friday through 6 am on Monday. 2. Set pavement cross section slope to 2% from centerline crown with milling machine. Utilize a non-contacting or sonar-type ski to ensure smoothness with paver. 3. Material Transfer Vehicle (MTV) shall be utilized throughout the entire project. 4. Traffic Stripe payment line item shall include: a. edge lines and centerlines with high-build paint same as existing b. Re-apply high build traffic striping in the Lee Castleberry roundabout including existing crosswalks (4 total) c. Striping around roundabouts (Dawson Forest Road and Lee Castleberry Road) and gore areas approaching roundabouts shall be thermoplastic d. Temporary striping must be applied before opening the road to traffic This is an invitation to submit a bid to Dawson County for materials and labor to perform repaving and striping for Lumpkin Campground Road.
