Site work for a water / sewer project in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work consists of the following: . Installation of turbidity curtain surrounding recently constructed intake screen and downstream shoreline as indicated in Contract Drawings. . Hydraulic dredging of the Neuse River in the vicinity surrounding the intake screen to remove the quantity of material listed on the Bid Form. The dredge area shall be as shown on the Contract Drawings and is limited to 140 feet upstream and 80 feet downstream of the intake screen. . Hauling and disposal of the materials removed from the work area to an acceptable offsite disposal location. Bids will be received for a SINGLE prime Contract. Bids shall be on a LUMP SUM AND UNIT PRICE BASIS, as indicated on the Bid Form. The Contract Times for the Work are set forth in the Agreement.
