Reference Number 0000297453 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/07/31 12:00:00 AM CDT Pricing Lump sum 2.1 The Work includes the categories as follows. The descriptions are not meant to be a comprehensive list for each category. (a) Interior refers to elevator work to renovate an existing elevator cab interior. Can include but not limited to the following: 1.) Direct applied or hang on applied panels for sides and rear of cab. ii.) replacement of ceiling, lighting fixtures and power supplies. iii.) installation of cameras. iv.) replacement of car door. v.) replacement of car sill. vi.) cladding of front return and header. vii.) Can include the weighing of elevator cabs before and after upgrade work. (b) Mechanical / Electrical (modernization of existing installations) - Refers to elevator work to modernize mechanical and electrical elevator equipment. Can include but is not limited to the following: 1.) Replacement of geared traction machine; ii.) replacement of hydraulic pumping unit; iii.) replacement of buried hydraulic jacks; iv.) replacement of elevator drives and control systems; v.) replacement of car door operators and detectors; vi.) replacement of top of car equipment; vii.) replacement of landing door equipment; viii.) refurbishing of existing geared and gearless traction machines; ix.) supply and installation of governors and rope brakes and other safety equipment; x.) installation of VOIP communication devices, fibre optic transmission cables and interface equipment including its' power supplies; xi.) installation of cameras, card readers, roam alert equipment, and associated wiring and interconnection; xii.) miscellaneous electrical work including changing of main line disconnects, installation of branch wiring to elevator controllers, installation of MI cabling, installation and programming of fire alarm devices and panels; xiii.) interconnection to generator power supply transfer switches for generator power and pre transfer power signals, including conduit and conductors to elevator controls; xiv.) installation of elevator machine room lighting, pit lighting, and GFI receptacles; xv.) guarding of machinery, and top of car handrail systems; xvi.) removal of pit concrete, pumping out existing cylinder casings, drilling of cylinder holes and installation of new underground casings, and supply and installation of concrete for the pits of conventional hydraulic elevators.
