The work planned on the Sanguinet facade is mainly aimed at correcting critical deficiencies observed between the 3rd and 7th floors, particularly with regard to the masonry anchors, the absence of drainage devices (gaps), degraded vapor barriers and the presence of significant moisture in the walls. The scope of work includes in particular: o Selective demolition of brick masonry sections; o The replacement of the structural lintel above the 3rd floor windows; o The partial repair of brick walls, including the recovery and reinstallation of approximately 70% of the existing bricks. The remaining 30%, damaged or inadequate, will be replaced by new equivalent type bricks; o Reconstruction of some concrete spandrels to incorporate adequate slope and drainage features; o A one-time intervention to recondition the canopies on this same facade, notably to correct waterproofing deficiencies. For the rear facade overlooking Sherbrooke Street, the planned interventions are exclusively of a security nature. It is planned, among other things, to apply temporary protective measures to the wall and to carry out targeted corrective work.
